THE BOATS WE USE

Inshore and offshore ocean fishing, as well as sight seeing, require a safe and comfortable deep V boat. A custom rigged 24ft. Hydra Sports center console has been selected, powered with a 250 Four Stroke Yamaha engine. Onboard head, Furuno (Global positioning system & color depth finder) electronics, ship to shore radio and a T-top with curtains provide comfort and security on the water. The boat is designed to accommodate fly fishers and light tackle fishermen. Sight fishing for redfish/ red drum in shallow water is becoming a popular method of fishing. Redfish can be found in water less than 12” deep. A 17ft. Pathfinder flats boat that floats in 6” of water has been selected to pursue North Carolina’s state fish. Front and back casting decks enhance both light tackle and flyfishing. The poling platform helps the guide spot the fish. The Pathfinder will take us back into tidal creeks to find redfish/ red drum, trout, and flounder, and view coastal sea birds.
